Bringing Golf to Gym Class
First Tee’s School Program introduces students to golf in PE classes, teaching Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
Research shows that youth in our programs successfully transfer life skills to various settings, learning valuable lessons through the game of golf. Our curriculum, combined with trained educators, equips participants with essential skills for lifelong success.
Since 2004, First Tee has integrated its School Program into PE classes nationwide, providing educators with a curriculum that combines golf instruction with social-emotional learning (SEL). This program aligns with national physical education standards set by the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) and is adaptable to different class sizes, schedules, and facilities.
