Summer Internships

Program Intern: Summer Program Interns are responsible for coaching and mentoring young people during First Tee Programs, outreach programs and other summer chapter events. This objective is achieved by the delivery of life skills, golf skills, and healthy habits in a safe, fun, and engaging class setting.  These positions help maintain the goals of the organization’s strategic plan and may be involved in other First Tee – Greater Washington, DC projects, as needed.

Coaching Intern: Coaching Interns will teach basic golf skills, mentor participants using the First Tee curriculum, and create a fun, inclusive learning environment. Administrative Assistant

Part Time (20-30 hrs)
First Tee – Greater Washington, DC is seeking a team member to join our small office environment. The candidate should be a self–starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, accurate and thorough, and a passion for youth development.

Life and Golf Skills Coach

First Tee – Greater Washington, DC Life and Golf Skills Coach is responsible for leading/teaching/coaching First Tee Life Skills Experience utilizing First Tee methodology and curriculum at scheduled classes/classes.  Coaches positively impact their lives through The First Tee Golf and Life Skills Experience using lesson plans and First Tee Coach Building Blocks.

This is a Seasonal Part-Time position averaging 6-12 hours a week with the potential for additional hours.
