First Tee Young Professionals Council
First Tee Young Professionals Council brings together young professionals to support the mission of First Tee of Greater Washington DC and to equip young individuals with essential life skills, nurturing character development, and fostering a lifelong love for golf. Through scholarships and mentorship, YPC provides a platform for young professionals to actively contribute to the growth, success, and well-being of the next generation, both on and off the golf course.
Scholarships
- Raised over $40,000 in 2022
- Awarded three college scholarships
Mentorship
- Directly impact the youth by volunteering as a coach during weekly sessions
- YPC is currently developing a mentorship program designed to connect YPC members with the participants in First Tee – Greater Washington DC
- YPC’s mentorship program will be college and career focused
In addition to supporting First Tee – Greater Washington, DC participants, First Tee YPC hosts various events and golf outings throughout the year to provide networking opportunities for its members.

The Scholarship Scramble is the First Tee Young Professional Council’s signature annual fundraiser. The event raises funds for college scholarships for First Tee-GWDC participants who are high school juniors and seniors. Click here for more information
